ESG4HE: Stimulating inter-connected, innovative teaching and learning for enhanced corporate ESG performance is an European project designed to address the growing demand for ESG expertise by developing innovative learning practices in HEIs. It focuses on sustainability, lifelong learning, and practical ESG engagement through Living Labs. The project will foster innovative teaching, provide sustainable business solutions for companies, enhance ESG reporting with digital tools, offer accredited ESG courses, and improve student employability by connecting them with companies and NGOs, supporting digital and green skills.

Goals
The objectives of ESG4HE:
- Foster an innovative approach of teaching and learning that supports active user involvement and real-life experimentation through the setting up of the Living Lab as part of HEIs learning methodology of the ESG concept.
- Facilitate the sustainable development operations of companies by providing them with new solutions and business models through the Living Labs methodology.
- Support and facilitation of the ESG reporting through the development of digital tools that provide assessment and guidance to companies and to ESG future (and current) consultants
- Enhancing the role of universities as lifelong learning centres by providing accreditation and certification for ESG specialization both for HE students and for professionals.
- Enhancing the employability of students in the area of ESG by connecting HEI students with labour market representatives and social actors

Targets Groups of ESG4HE:
- HEI students attending programmes of in Business & Management, Economics, Engineering, Environmental studies (EQF LEVEL 6)
- HEI academics with specialisation in Business & Management, Economics, Engineering, Environmental studies teaching in relevant HEI
- Companies (SMEs mainly)
- Professionals that focus on ESG such as consultants, economists, engineers, environmentalists.
Research Output
The expected results of the ESG4HE project include:
- Modularised course with 10 modules, application of the course (theory and Living Labs) in 3 Universities with 120students
- 5 real-case scenarios brought forward by companies under each Living Lab (overall 15 case-studies) and consultations plan for each company
- A Digital platform that will include a 360 Assessment tool for monitoring compliance of companies PRIORITY: Supporting digital and green capabilities of the higher education sector
- Validated and accredited online ESG-Focused interdisciplinary course
- 15 companies involved in the Living Labs, Open days in Higher Education Institutions with labour marker
representatives and NGOs, ESG course developed through a transdisciplinary approach with the cooperation of academic and non-academic actors
