The Third Thematic Convention of the Culture and Training for a Sustainable Future project “Culture, Training and New Professions for Sustainability” will be held on April 18, 2024 in Rome as part of the 2nd edition of the ESG 2030 Forum, promoted by Diligentia ETS and implemented in collaboration with Unioncamere.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The ESG 2030 Forum constitutes the concluding and synthesis moment of the synergies initiated between CUEIM and Diligentia ETS<\/a> in the implementation of their respective projects on sustainability issues (“Culture and Training for a Sustainable Future<\/a>” and “ESG 2030<\/a>“) co-funded by the Ministry of Environment and Energy Security within the framework of the National Sustainable Development Strategy, and is carried out in order to take stock of the level of achievement of the 17 goals of the 2030 Agenda<\/a> and make an overall assessment of the current delays and their causes.<\/p>\n

The Ministry of Environment and Energy Security<\/a> has activated the strategy within which to accelerate the process of awareness and interaction among different categories of responsible and committed actors in the process of changing the economic paradigm towards a sustainable economy model. In particular, through the call for the promotion of “Culture for Sustainability”<\/a> (2023), the MASE has made possible several projects that, as part of 25 other winning projects including those carried out by Diligentia ETS and CUEIM, contribute to the grounding of the National Strategy for Sustainable Development (SNSvS)<\/a>, bringing in relevant elements on those aspects that relate specifically to the development and dissemination of a common knowledge and, consequently, a multi-actor approach. Beginning in 2019, MASE facilitated the creation of the National Forum for Sustainable Development<\/a>, a permanent venue for bringing together influences, energies, communities, and projects for the benefit of better development and implementation of the Strategy and which can always be joined forumsvs@mase.gov.it.<\/p>\n

The days of debate and discussion promoted within the framework of the 2nd edition of the ESG 2030 Forum originate from the same desire to welcome and expand the community of sustainability activators through aggregation and involvement, characterizing and quality processes.<\/p>\n

In the spirit of Diligentia, the forum will not only analyze the situation, but also identify what needs to be done to avoid further delays. For this reason, the conclusions of the activities carried out by Diligentia in the 5 areas of the ESG 2030 project and the operational proposals that emerged during the course of the work will be presented during the Forum.<\/p>\n

In this context, CUEIM will present the results achieved by the Culture and Training for a Sustainable Future project in terms of spreading the culture of sustainability, through the implementation of strategic actions of training and creation of a multi-actor community on these issues. In particular, ample space will be given to the topic of new professions for sustainability, in light of a survey conducted in collaboration with Diligentia, through a questionnaire addressed to Companies and Universities. The questionnaire, carried out as part of the research “Analysis of the gap between supply and demand for new professions in the ESG field,” was designed to analyze professional skills that, combining managerial and technical aspects, can facilitate a participatory process and greater.<\/p>\n
